Aero Truck SA (Pty) Ltd was established in 1986. Over the past thirty five years the company has pioneered and led the development and use of aerodynamics across the South African trucking industry. Their well-engineered quality wind management Aerodynamic systems, consisting of options ranging from an integral roof mounted unit, added sides and skirts to boat-tails are all designed and manufactured by Aero Truck. These highly specialised products are the result of many years’ experience with the unique needs of the South African market, where height and width regulations differ considerably from those of overseas trucks. Aero Truck’s development team works in close collaboration with major OEMs to ensure that each product meets the manufacturer’s requirements. Because of this their products are both aerodynamically effective as well as aesthetically pleasing and fully meet the needs of their customers (be they dealerships or individual transporters). Prior to Covid-19 attendance at local and international Transport Exhibitions was mandatory for management and senior members of our design team in order that they maintained awareness of the latest trends in the industry. We look forward to being able to resume our visits once travel restrictions are lifted.
